Welcome to the Public Safety Outreach website (the “Site”). By accessing or using this Site, or by opting in to receive communications from us (including SMS/text messages), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

  1. General Use of the Site

The content on this Site is for informational purposes only. Public Safety Outreach reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Site at any time without notice.

  1. Pledges, Donations, and Gifts
  • Offline Fulfillment: Public Safety Outreach does not collect online credit card payments or digital donations directly on this Site. All financial contributions and pledges must be fulfilled offline via mail-in check or scheduled in-person pickup with our representatives.
  • Donor Appreciation Gifts: Any appreciation gifts, decals, car shields, stickers, or wallet cards associated with donation tiers are subject to availability. These items are delivered via mail or in-person and are not sold directly online.
  1. Mobile Messaging (SMS) Terms of Service

By providing your mobile number and opting in to receive text messages from Public Safety Outreach (either verbally during a phone call or by checking the opt-in box on our website contact form), you agree to the following terms:

  • Program Description: Public Safety Outreach uses SMS to communicate with supporters who have requested information. Messages include transactional updates regarding your offline pledges, instructions on how to mail in your donation, details on upcoming safety campaigns, and links or images to view and choose your donor appreciation gifts.
  • Message Frequency: This is a transactional, single-instance messaging program. Message frequency varies based on your specific requests and interactions with our representatives. You will only receive messages directly related to your active requests or pledges.
  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Public Safety Outreach does not charge any fees for our text messaging service, but your mobile carrier’s standard rates for sending and receiving text messages still apply.
  • How to Opt-In: You can opt-in to receive texts verbally during a call with an agent, or by filling out the form on our Contact Us page and checking the explicit opt-in checkbox.
  • How to Opt-Out (STOP): You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Text “STOP” to our number to unsubscribe. After you send the message “STOP”, we will send you one final text message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive text messages from us unless you choose to opt-in again.
  • How to Get Help (HELP): If you are experiencing issues with our messaging program, you can text “HELP” for more assistance, or you can contact us directly via our website contact page.
  • Supported Carriers: T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and other major and minor mobile carriers. Note that carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  1. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, graphics, and designs on this Site are the property of Public Safety Outreach or its content suppliers and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of any materials on this Site is strictly prohibited.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Public Safety Outreach will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this Site or from any delay, delivery failure, or billing issues associated with mobile messaging services.
